ACT CAMBODIA សូមស្វាគមន៏

The Alliance for Conflict Transformation (ACT) was founded in May 1999 by a group of individual peace activists committed to working together to provide skills and knowledge in the area of conflict resolution and peacebuilding. The ACT is a non-governmental organization and aims to develop and strengthen the mechanisms for peace in Cambodia. It builds the capacity of practitioners in the area of peace and conflict resolution through education programs, cooperation and networking.

On 29 December, the whole day, the teachers from Kampong Chhnang Province were busy in Monitoring Teacher Implementation Workshop. In total 28 teachers from 27 High Schools in Kompong Chnnang province had gathered at the hall of youth center in the Kampong Chhnang town. Most of the teachers are response for 7, 8 and 9 grade. Peace Dialogue between Khmer-Thai community people along border

Volunteer Group for Peace and Development along Border Area (VPDB) is composed  of NGOs who are involved in peacebuilding; especiallyalong the border side. Those NGOs joint effort  intend to bring  understanding among the Khmer and Thai people at border side. in transforming the conflict into peace. The VPDB, formed in mid of 2011; as the tension between Cambodia and Thai is going on. The conflict bring  lot of concerns to the peace organizations which lead to form a working group to work closely with victim people  of both countries.
