ACT CAMBODIA សូមស្វាគមន៏

The Alliance for Conflict Transformation (ACT) was founded in May 1999 by a group of individual peace activists committed to working together to provide skills and knowledge in the area of conflict resolution and peacebuilding. The ACT is a non-governmental organization and aims to develop and strengthen the mechanisms for peace in Cambodia. It builds the capacity of practitioners in the area of peace and conflict resolution through education programs, cooperation and networking.

Follow up meeting with Khmer people and Join the Dhammayietra 22

March 14th -15th, 2012 at PhaOung, Oddormenachey province

On March 14th, 2012 VPDB team went down to the PhaOung village, Oddormeanchey province to follow up for the Khmer people who had been set plan for the community activities last December 14-15, 2011 at Khmer-Thai dialogue in Siem Reap. The objective of this follow up was to follow up what they had been done after the Khmer Thai dialogue; to know how is going on with the Khmer people who had been set plan after the Khmer Thai dialogue in Dec 2011; and to joint with the Dhammayietra (peace walk) with Dhammayietra 22 in Oddormeanchey.

Follow up Workshop of Monitoring Teacher Implementation in Takeo

Inter-Ethnic Peace Building Project has conducted a follow up meeting at Takeo province, organized on 29 March at Takeo; teachers have worked together on the peace book. The main objective of this meeting is, to support and give feedback to teachers in order to strengthen their capacity to teach peace curriculum in a facilitative way and give them the opportunities to seek for technical support and ensure all the concepts are taught in the proper way.

Monitoring Teacher Implementation Workshop

On 29 December, the whole day, the teachers from Kampong Chhnang Province were busy in Monitoring Teacher Implementation Workshop.
